Currently in his 27th year of practice, Chris has a broad range of experience that includes working in residential construction to managing the designs of large institutional projects. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 1993. After launching his own office in 2006, his primary focus has been on custom residential and small commercial projects for non-profit organizations and privately held owner-occupied buildings. His work has been highlighted on an international television series and featured in numerous publications and architecture tours.


Chris has been actively involved with AIA Austin since 2003 and has served on Homes Tour Committee, Design and Honor Awards Committee, Communications Committee, Facilities Committee, and Finance Committee.  He has chaired the Honors Award Committee and the Communications Committee. He served 7 years on the AIA Austin Executive Board of Directors and wrote for Texas Architect magazine from 2016 to 2018. He currently is an officer of the board for Big Medium and is the president of the board for the Austin Foundation of Architecture.
